James A. Saad, Esq.
Jim Saad has been practicing law in Ohio for over 28 years providing counsel in commercial and residential real estate transactions, affordable housing, business transactions, and estate planning.
Since 1979, Mr. Saad has represented businesses in the real estate industry. He specializes in representing developers, builders and managers in the business of providing affordable residential housing. He also represents various nonprofit organizations in the affordable housing industry. The financing of such projects has typically been provided through programs of the United States Department of Agriculture, through Rural Development, f.k.a. Farmers Home Administration, and of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and through the low income housing tax credit program (LIHTC), along with real estate syndications.
Mr. Saad received his Juris Doctor Degree from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio in 1977; and was admitted to the practice of law by the State of Ohio 1977.
Mr. Saad is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit; United States District Court of Ohio, Southern and Northern Districts; United States Tax Court; and Supreme Court of the United States of America.
He is also the President and owner of Star Title Agency LLC and Star Settlement Services LLC, which companies provide real estate title insurance and escrow services. His title insurance licensing includes Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
